Nifty Bridge is a pioneering Shopify plugin allowing users to turn their Shopify storefront into an NFT marketplace. It was an interesting and innovative project to work on. At the moment, the project is supported by the team: we continue to develop and improve the platform and bring new clients’ ideas to life.
At the time, the NFT market was booming. Our client identified a need for an alternative to traditional NFT marketplaces that would provide a simple way to mint and sell NFTs without the hassle. That was when Shopify stepped into the project, and we asked ourselves: what if we combined the simplicity of Shopify with NFTs? And thus, the Nifty Bridge was created.
The Shopify plugin allows users to create and sell NFTs while engaging their community. The project was completed by two teams: one worked on the Shopify plugin, and the other was responsible for the web3 component. Together, we delivered one of the first Shopify-based NFT marketplaces.
We wrote unique NFT contracts for the platform and implemented automated minting. Additionally, we introduced airdrop functionality, which allows users to create a product, and put it up for sale, while the platform converts the product into an NFT and sends it to the correct person.
